AES GOT MILK? Campaign...in the making

Lots of children are throwing away unopened cartons of milk in the AES lunchroom. The students came up with ideas of what could be the problem. Their ideas were very interesting. The students researched facts about milk and decided they should do something to bring attention to the other students of why drinking milk is so important. I split the students into groups and each group chose what they wanted to do: play, movie, song, game, etc. Most groups have chosen a play, movie, or song. So, now we are in the process of making these productions come to life...which is a lot of hard work. Take a look at the pictures of our fun!

Katy Grace is helping pin Grayce's costume on.

John and Maddox are having a little trouble getting Rayna's costume fixed. But...believe it or not....these boys problem-solving skills helped them turn this into something great.

John is the prop manager of this groups movie.

John and Elijah are making a glass of water from cardboard and pom-poms.

Lauren and Hannah are wanting kids to vote on what would help them drink more milk, so they designed a vote box to sit outside the classroom.

These cuties are painting Britton's milk carton costume.

This group is also designing a milk carton from cardboard.

Eli and Wesley are working on costumes for their play. Wesley will be a bale of hay on the farm.

Cooper is trying out his robot costume for his group's milk song.

These ladies are painting the a car for their movie.

The milk carton painting is still under-raps.

Wesley is helping paint the barn.

These lovely ladies are brainstorming on how to build and paint their costumes.

Painting is so messy, but soooooo much fun!
